These ratings were funded by Subak, using data provided by The George Institute.

​

Ratings incorporate several databases, including life-cycle analyses of individual ingredients and are married with New Zealand-specific food emissions data.

​

Each product is rated on their individual climate change impact.

This was a prototype project created by a team of data scientists.

​

We have access to high quality, data and have built algorithms to rate every product sold in NZ supermarkets.
